Coach Luis de la Fuente has been rewarded with a new contract that will take him to 2032 after he led Spain to win the 2026 World Cup.
Luis de la Fuente, who took over as coach of the Spanish national team in the winter of 2023, also led his country to win European Championship in 2024.
The Spanish Federation announced the extended the contract with de la Fuente through Euro 2032, which will be played in Italy and Turkey.
The coach is a relatively new name at full international level as before his time with the Spanish A national team he managed several of the nation’s youth teams.
