The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has made a late change to the officiating team for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying fixture between Ghana and The Gambi.
Moroccan referee Jalal Jayed, who was initially appointed to take charge of the Group game in Accra on September 29, has been replaced by compatriot Mustapha Kechaf.
Jayed was withdrawn from the appointment due to his unavailability, prompting CAF to make the change ahead of the crucial qualifier.
Kechaf will now lead the officiating team for the encounter as both Ghana and The Gambia continue their quest for qualification for the 2027 AFCON tournament.
