‎A high powered delegation from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has arrived in Uganda for a crucial strategic engagement with the three PAMOJA host nations of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

‎The high-level meetings, scheduled to take place in Kampala from April 22 to 23, will focus on assessing progress and aligning on key delivery priorities ahead of the continental showpiece.

‎According to CAF, the two-day engagement will provide a platform for all stakeholders to review the next phase of preparations, including infrastructure development, logistics, security planning, and operational frameworks required to successfully host the tournament.

‎The PAMOJA bid a joint hosting arrangement between the three East African nations was awarded the rights to stage the 2027 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, marking a historic return of the competition to the region.

‎CAF officials are expected to hold separate and joint sessions with representatives of the host nations to ensure timelines are met and standards are aligned with international requirements.

‎The meetings are seen as a critical step in ensuring that the East African trio remains on track to deliver a successful and memorable tournament in 2027.
